The UT System has shared the following message:
DASH (Dynamic Administrative Systems for Higher Ed) stakeholders have been hard at work as progress continues across many fronts. The financial workstream is progressing as participants have concluded the introductory round of workshops and are now focusing on future process flows and key decisions to finalize the initial design. The human capital management workstream has officially launched with its introductory design sessions well under way.
In addition, the DASH project team is preparing a launch to assess the use of Oracle Maintenance Cloud. We are working to mobilize a systemwide team to help determine requirements and future process flows in areas such as: capital projects, asset management, space inventory, and facilities management. This assessment will help determine what parts of the processes are supported by Oracle’s solution and where gaps need to be filled.
We have also been developing new additions for the Friends of DASH site that we hope you will find to be both helpful and engaging. Our Dose of DASH page contains links to items such as virtual meeting backgrounds, a Spotify playlist, recipes from our Transition Management Team members and our brand-new Dose of DASH podcast. Our new Resource Hub contains links to our DASH Lingo vocabulary page, a DASH contact form where you can submit questions and links to Teams training that you might find particularly useful if you are participating in DASH workshops.
DASH is the Oracle Cloud solution for finance, human resources and payroll operations at the University of Tennessee. DASH brings core processes together within a single platform, strengthening operational efficiency and improving security, accessibility and sustainability.
